Students in the B. Side 2009 Summer "Web Design Workshop" received 96 hours of instruction and hands-on working experience with industry leading Web Design software including:

• Adobe Dreamweaver (fluent in the use of)
• Adobe Photoshop (familiar with the use of)
• Adobe Flash (familiar with the use of)

In addition, students became familiar with editing source code directly and using the following to build their websites:

• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript (client-side)

Over the course of the Summer of 2009, students created their own individual websites, digital portfolios, redesign ideas for the B. Side website, and worked as a team to enhance the B. Side of Youth website.
