B. Side Basics

A 10-week/40 hour entrepreneurial education program utilizing NFTE, Generation E and B. Side's own curriculum. Youth will develop a business plan based on their own concept or idea and explore the possibilities for success. Youth will complete a working business plan, present the business plan and compete for a cash prize within the class.

Young Moguls Club (YMC)

Youth receive experiential learning about business through the continued development of business plans, receiving a mentor and internship / apprenticeship experiences. Youth are also encouraged to enter competitions and attend local and regional conferences.

Mentors

An individual with experience in developing or growing a business, or a person with specific business skills that will help our young entrepreneurs to establish their businesses.  Mentors receive support and guidance throughout their three to six month commitment, which includes bi-weekly contact with a young entrepreneur and meetings with The B.Side staff.
